The Zubadan heat pump was installed inconspicuously at the side of the house in 2008. It was linked up to the central heating system via a hot water storage tank. This means that the required temperatures for hot water, underfloor heating and radiators are conveniently and energy-efficiently available all year round. The house owner opted for a Zubadan air-to-water heat pump, as the initial investment is lower than for other types of heat pump.
